It happens to the best of us: you forgot your password.
The below procedure details the steps to request a new password to access the portal. Depending on the department configuration setting, a password can only be set after a human (helpdesk/support) intervention.
The below procedure describes the process where the department owner allows the automatic generation and sending of new passwords.
After navigation to a portal, your browser will show the login page as shown below
Click the Forgot password link here.
On this page, please fill in the details of your account.
The CAPTCHA must be filled. This gives some assurance that an actual human is requesting a password reset.
When all fields are filled, click send email
After clicking send email, this page notifies you that the process is started.
Based upon the earlier mentioned department configuration setting, the process is fulfilled automatically or queued for support.
